Stir Crazy

I'm staring out the window and seriously considering building an igloo.  We built igloos and snow tunnels a few times when we were kids and I'm feeling nostalgic looking at all of this snow.  Thinking about igloos also got me thinking about other alternative housing, lodging and shelter options.

Nice view but don't expect any privacy...

I could see myself spending a night in one of these; couldn't work with the outhouse though. No can do!

FYI - Did you know the term "eskimo" is a no-no?  It's offensive to many Inuit, Aleut and other indigenous people, yet I often hear many otherwise enlightened folks use the term freely because they don't know any better. "If you don't know, now you know."

Happy snow day!

I did know that the term 'eskimo' was a no no. Of course, I only remember this when I slip up and say it and then someone else corrects me, and then I scold myself because I should know better. Sigh.

I'm attempting to work from home today. Of course, that's up to the Nazi's discretion. Either way, I'm not going in.
